A Member Of The Waste Management Team Operates A Monitor
that checks waste from the Restart Project for radioactivity. The team is getting geared up for Restart project demobilization.
A Restart Crew Connects The Upper Portion of a Flux Monitor Guide Tube
to its lower portion for vertical insertion into the Unit 2 reactor. New flux monitors are being added to five sites in each of the Unit 1 and 2 reactors as an enhancement for Shutdown System No. 2.

before final signoffs to declare refurbished service water systems in Unit 2 ready for commissioning. The Unit 1 turbine generator was declared mechanically complete.
Calandria Tube Installation and Testing
continues on the Unit 2 reactor with two thirds of the new tubes now ready for new fuel channel assemblies. Fuel load is scheduled to get underway this fall.
