IEI Program - Stream 1

Stream 1 of the Industrial Electricity Incentive (IEI) Program is for industrial consumers willing to operate an industrial facility and undertake a large capital investment in technologies, products or processes that are not currently being used or produced in Ontario.  

Registration for Stream 1 closed on December 14, 2012. Only Registered Applicants are permitted to submit a Stream 1 Application.

December 21, 2012 – Release of IEI Stream 1 Contract Prescribed Forms

December 14, 2012 – Release of final documents and close of Registration 

We thank all stakeholders for providing feedback on the IEI Stream 1 Program.  We have reviewed your comments and have revised the IEI Steam 1 Program Rules and Contract where appropriate. Final documents are available for download:

Parties interested in registering for Stream 1 must complete and submit the registration form and application deposit ($10,000 + HST) to the OPA no later than 4:00 p.m. EPT on December 14, 2012.  The application deposit  will be credited towards the application fee. As a reminder, only registered applicants will be eligible to submit applications. 

In addition, individual information sessions with the OPA project team are being offered. If you are interested in having an individual information session, please complete and submit the registration form and application deposit ($10,000 + HST) to the OPA no later than 4:00 p.m. EPT on November 27, 2012. These sessions will be scheduled for the week of November 26, 2012.
